COMPLAINTS & REPAIRS

If you notice a defect in your garment, please contact the retailer where you purchased it. They will then get in touch with us and inform you once we have identified the cause and found a solution.

Products returned to the retailer and subsequently forwarded to us must be clean and fresh. For hygiene reasons, we do not process dirty or unkempt products out of consideration for those handling complaints.

 

 
NOT VALID GROUNDS FOR COMPLAINTS:

Stains that appear after use are not considered a reason for complaint.

Worn-out products, regardless of age, are not considered a warranty or complaint issue. Products with normal "wear and tear" are not replaced, but we can offer you our repair kit, which includes a pair of elbow patches and some wool yarn to reinforce or repair worn areas of the garment.

 

 

Moth holes are not considered a valid complaint. However, we are happy to send you matching yarn so you can repair your garment.

Pilling is a natural occurrence in wool garments because wool fibers are soft and porous. It is most likely to occur in areas subject to friction, such as the sides of the garment where the arms move and rub. Pilling does not necessarily indicate poor quality. The wool that comes loose due to friction is excess fiber, which can be easily removed using an electric fabric shaver or manually if you prefer.


 


Incorrect washing. Please follow the care instructions in the side seam! Most of our garments can be machine washed at 30°C on a wool wash program with reduced spin. Be very careful, as washing on the wrong program or using excessive spin may cause shrinkage. Complaints due to incorrect washing will not be accepted.



REPAIRS

Wool is a fantastic material in terms of comfort and functionality, but it is also a delicate fiber. With intensive use, particularly in high-wear areas such as the elbows, the fabric may wear down and require reinforcement.

Our repair kit contains two elbow patches and wool yarn for mending and reinforcing your garment. This allows you to easily repair and extend its lifespan. You will soon be able to order this via our webshop, but until then, please contact us at butik@ivanhoe.se.

You are always welcome to discuss your garments with us or seek advice. Our goal is to extend the lifespan of your beloved wool garment so that you can enjoy it for many years to come.

ZIPPER REPLACEMENT

If your zipper is broken and needs to be replaced, we offer different options:

  1. Self-repair or tailor replacement:
    If you prefer to replace the zipper yourself or have a tailor do it, we can send you a new zipper. In this case, you pay 5 EUR for the zipper and 12 EUR for shipping.

  2. Replacement by us:
    If you would like us to replace the zipper, please email info@ivanhoe.se with a picture of the garment, the article number (found in the side seam), and your order number before sending it in. We will first assess whether the garment can be repaired. If so, the total cost will be 64 EUR, including:

    • 12 EUR for shipping to us
    • 12 EUR for return shipping
    • 5 EUR for the zipper
    • 35 EUR for sewing work
